Abstract


           The purposes of this research were to study and to compare status of teacher developing In school under the secondary educational  service area office 32 as perceived by administrators and teachers in 5 aspects, namely training, study and visit, development by operation process, self development and development by administration process. To compare the status of teacher development in school under the secondary educational service area office 32 in 5 aspects with different status position, educational background and school size. The sample of the study consisted of 346 teachers. The personnel were 62 administrators  and 284 teachers. Selected by using the table of Krejcie & Morgan, and simple random sampling technique. The research instrument was a questionnaire constructed by the researcher with its reliability at 0.9547. The statistics used to analysis the data collection were percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test F-test, and Scheffe method.

            The results were as followed :

            1.  The status of teacher development in school under the secondary educational service area office 32 as perceived by administrators and teachers in all aspects and each aspect observed high level.

  2.  The result of the comparison of the status of teacher developing in school

under thesecondary educational  service area office 32 as perceived by administrators and teachers with different status position, educational background and school size in all aspects and each aspect with difference level of statistical significance. 05.

  3.  The suggestions of status of teacher developing in school under the secondary

educational  service area office 32 by administrators and teachers found that teachers

in school should be planned to develop cooperation between administrators and teachers to make the most of the students are training to be organized in accordance with the curriculum. the core curriculum of the school and the training can be adapted to suit the course. The schools should encourage personnel to be trained to develop themselves. Encourage personnel to study in order to develop a higher level, the staff to study resources that teachers will apply the knowledge gained to convey of students. The school counselor and recommended practices that are required to work effectively and efficiently. This should encourage and support teachers with technical exhibits regularly.
