Empirical Study on the influencing Factors of Higher Education Quality at Ji’an College in China

Abstract


The objectives of the study were to (1) study the quality of Ji'an College, the quality of higher education, teachers’ literacy, management level, students’ literacy, social environment, and quality monitoring at Ji'an College in China and (2) study the factors affecting the quality of higher education at Ji'an College in China. Multiple liner regression was used to explain the correlation between variables in the proposed model. 400 self-administered questionnaires were distributed to teachers and student in Ji'an College, and 348 usable responses were analyzed by using statistical program. Results show that (1) management level, teachers’ literacy, students’ literacy, and quality monitoring system have a direct impact on the quality of Ji’an college, and teachers’ literacy has the greatest direct impact on the quality of Ji'an college, and (2) management level, teachers’ literacy, students’ literacy, and quality monitoring system also have a direct impact on the quality of higher education in Ji’an college, and management level has the greatest direct impact on the quality of higher education.
