Abstract
The purposes of this study were to develop a series of activities development to create intellectual health according to the concept of Buddhism by the four Bhavana for Higher Education Institutions in Bangkok and Metropolitan Region. The specific objectives were: 1) to study component of intellectual health in accordance with Buddhism by the four Bhavana for teacher students 2) to develop a series of activities to enhance intellectual health accordance with Buddhism by the four Bhavana for teacher students 3) to study the effectiveness of a series of activities to enhance intellectual health. The samples used in the research were divided into 2 groups were 1) The sample used in the analysis of intellectual health components is student teachers in Higher Education Institutions in Bangkok and Metropolitan Region of 300 people by Multi-stage Sampling. 2) The sample used to find effectiveness a series of activities to enhance intellectual health accordance with Buddhism by the four Bhavana for teacher students is 300 Rattana Bundit University teacher students with the application method. The instruments used to collect data were 1) Intellectual health in accordance with Buddhism by the four Bhavana questionnaires. 2) Questionnaire for assessing suitability of a series of activities 3) Questionnaire for assessing concordance of a series of activities. The statistics for data analysis include mean, standard deviation, t-test and confirmatory factor.
The results were as follows: 1. The confirmatory factor analysis significantly confirmed that the model of intellectual health in accordance with Buddhism Bhavana 4 could de divided into 4 factor: body, moral, mind and intel. These 4 factor had high loading at a 0.05 level of significant and could be used to measure the intellectual health of student teacher. 2. The series of activities development to create intellectual health according to the concept of Buddhism for Higher Education Institutions in Bangkok and Metropolitan Region consisted of 6 aspects, backgrounds, the purpose of a series of activities, the conceptual framework of a series of activities, content structure, Procedures of a series of activities and measurement and evaluation 3.The series of activities development to create intellectual health according to the concept of Buddhism by the four Bhavana is suitable at a high level.Full Text:
