Abstract


The objectives of this study are 1) to study behavioraldecision to use The Electronic Toll Collection System (ETC) 2) to studythe factors affecting the decision to use ETC. The primary data was collected from 400 questionnaires of expressway user. The data was analyzed by using descriptive statistics such as percentage, means, standard deviation and applying inferential statistics: t-test, F-test.The logit model is employed in order to calculate the marginal effect of relevant factor at 0.05 significance level.

The results of this study found that most respondents who use ETC were male, use expressway between 5 a.m. – 10 a.m., 46.25% of sample use ETC.The marketing mix reflect that promotion is the key concern in making decision to use ETC.
