Abstract


This research aims to study and compare the opinions of teacher to personnel management philosophy of sufficiency economy in small schools, the Secondary Education Service Area Office 11, Chumphon Province Area 2. The samples used in the study are 108 of teachers in small schools, the Secondary Education Service Area Office 11, Chumphon Province Area 2.

Questionnaires were used to collect data using simple random sampling. The statistics used to analyze data are frequency, percentage, average, standard deviation, t-test, F-test and Scheffe’s method.The research found that;

1) Teachers in small schools,the Secondary Education Service Area Office 11, Chumphon Province Area 2. are mostly women, have a Bachelor's degree and have experience of working about 10 years.

2) Personnel management philosophy of sufficiency economy according to the opinions of teachers in small schools,the Secondary Education Service Area Office 11, Chumphon Province Area 2. by overall and income are at high level; in staff planing and placement, recruitment and appointment, work efficiency improvement, disciplinary and resignation respectively.

3) The comparison between the opinions of teacher by gender, educational background and work experience aresummarized as follows;

          3.1) Teachers with different gender have opinions about personnel management philosophy of sufficiency economy in small schools in overall no significantly difference. In consideration of staff planing and placement, recruitment and appointment, disciplinary and resignation, the difference was statistically significant at the 0.05 level.

          3.2) Teachers with different education and working experience have opinions about personnel management philosophy of sufficiency economy in small schools in overall and income no significantly difference.
