Abstract


          The purpose of this study were to study and compare the Competencies of the School Principal in the Development of Education Extended School of the Third Educational Network Under the Office of Ranong Primary Education Service for the 21th Century. Which classified by gender, educational background and the experience in the work. The sample of this study consisted of 65 personnel of teacher and educational personnel of Education Extended School of the Third Educational Network Under the Office of Ranong Primary Education Service. The research instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire. The statistical procedures employed included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and One-way ANOVA

          The research findings were as follows:

          1. The Competencies of the School Principal in the Development of Education Extended School of the Third Educational Network Under the Office of Ranong Primary Education Service for the 21th Century according to the opinions of teacher and educational personnel were high in all levels. Considering each aspect, it found the highest mean was achievement motivation, morality and ethics, teamwork. The lowest mean was managing change.

          2. The comparison of the Competencies of the School Principal in the Development of Education Extended School of the Third Educational Network Under the Office of Ranong Primary Education Service for the 21th Century which classified by gender, educational background and the experience in the work were indifferent with the statistical significance at the level of .05.
