Abstract


      The purpose of this research were 1) to study the Characteristics of Leader for School Administrators under the Extension of Education Opportunity Program Ranong Educational Service Area Office 2) to compare the Characteristics of Leader for School Administrators under the Extension of Education Opportunity Program Ranong Educational Service Area Office classified by gender, age, education, working experience and school size. The samples were 124 teachers in Mueang District by using stratified random sampling method. The instrument for data was questionnaires. The data gathered are analyzed with computer program by calculation to find out the standard statistics such as percentage, average, standard deviation, t-test and f-test.

       The result revealed that 1) Characteristics of Leader for School Administrators was totally 6 aspect high level and individual aspect at high level were leadership, relationship,  personality respectively, knowledge and ability and morality and medium level was visionary. 2) Characteristics of Leader for School Administrators classified by gender, working experience and education were not different 3) Characteristics of Leader for School Administrators classified by age and school size were significantly different at 0.05 level
