Abstract
This research aimed to study the situations of Department of Special Investigation, and to study problems on rendering services to people in order to identify guidelines for enhancing the efficiency of the organization. In particular to the research methodology, in-depth interview had been used as a research instrument for this qualitative research .The data were also collected from 2 sample groups, namely, (1) officers of Department of Special Investigation and (2) 20 people and 20 government officers, totaling 40 persons, using the services of Special Case Management Center.
The results showed that the major problem was inefficient staff and delay of services and this lead to the dissatisfaction of people who received services from DSI. However, major reasons of the problem came from 1) complicated process 2) delay of information finding process, and 3) vague responsibility of staff. In order to solve the problems human resource management concept and information technology can help the organization to increase efficiency of work.
