Abstract

The Research “The Identification of Car Number on Modification Patterns by Chemical Solutions” aim to studied Scratch Removal or Editing Car Serial Number Forgery by Etching Chemical Treatment as a guideline for the examiner will selecting suitable Etching Chemical Treatment with Car Serial Number.

The sampling in this research were cars that edited its serial number by scraping, cutting sheets, interconnect and also to destructive. The Research result showed that when was compared all of mean from there are 3 samplings way of Editing Car Serial Number Forgery and there are 3 Etching Chemical Treatment formulas with round number of Etching and the time to spent. Found that chemical treatment formula 1 was suited with destructive. In the other hand, chemical treatment formula 2 was suited with Editing Car Serial Number Forgery, and the last chemical treatment formula 3 was suited both with cutting sheets and interconnect.
