Abstract
The objective of this research is to study the bronze Buddha Images of Fang School in a seated position with the right leg on the left one on the 17th century A.D. Data was collected by survey the 84 Bronze Buddha images of Fang School in the temples in Fang and Mae Ai district, Chiangmai Province. They were found that there are only 10 of 84 lists of the bronze of Buddha Images in a seated position with the right leg on the left one by suppose. The Research Result showed that 1) the arts of style: the Bronze Buddha images of Fang School are specific forms. They are the big eyelid, the components of face are always made the groove, the long neck. The outer rope is the large sheet, a straight line and decorated with motif. The five fingers are almost equal. The Bronze Buddha images are stayed on the high lotus pedestal and moulding under of the Buddha images. 2) The age determination: they were found that the Bronze Buddha images of Fang School are on The Early 17th century A.D. 3) The relationship with Fang history: These styles showed that in this period Fang is prosperity as well as on The Early 17th century A.D.
