Abstract

This research aims to study the style, content, and strategies of questioning in the Pritsanafalap Program. The data were collected from nine records on www.workpointtv. com using a systematic random sampling method.

The findings revealed two questioning styles: individual questions and question sets and two elements of questioning: introduction and question. The structure of questions was classified into two patterns: question alone and a combination of introduction and question. Also, it was found that question content covered two aspects: general knowledge and entertainment-oriented knowledge. Finally, six strategies were observed: question words, distracting questions, homophones, compound words and noun phrases, word transposition, and twist ending.
