Abstract

As the demand for unique travel experiences grows, homestays have become increasingly popular among consumers. However, there are challenges in homestay space design, including design homogeneity, limited experience functions, and a lack of regional culture. This paper analyzes and proposes solutions for homestay space design, emphasizing moderate transformation, local considerations, and the integration of experience and cultural heritage. Using the case of Qingcheng Mountain homestay, the study explores the application of local characteristics in design, offering insights for researchers and contributing to the preservation of regional culture and the development of the tourism and homestay industry.
