PERFORMANCE EFFICIENCY OF POLICE OFFICERS IN MUEANG NAKHON PATHOM PROVINCIAL POLICE STATION, NAKHON PATHOM PROVINCE, THAILAND

Abstract


This study aimed to examine the performance efficiency of police officers at Mueang Nakhon Pathom Provincial Police Station, Nakhon Pathom Province, Thailand. A quantitative research approach was employed, using a structured questionnaire to collect data from police officers, which were then analyzed through descriptive and inferential statistics. The findings revealed that the overall performance efficiency of police officers was at a very high level. Key factors influencing performance included career advancement opportunities, positive relationships with supervisors and colleagues, organizational support, compensation and benefits, and recognition. These factors contributed significantly to improving work quality, timeliness, responsibility, and goal achievement. The results suggest that effective human resource management and supportive organizational environments play a crucial role in enhancing police performance. The study provides useful insights for policy development and strategic planning to improve police efficiency and strengthen public trust in law enforcement institutions
