FACTORS INFLUENCING SERVICE QUALITY IN RESEARCH DATA COLLECTION BOOK FOR RESEARCH WORK BY GRADUATE STUDENTS AT SUAN SUNANDHA RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY
Abstract
The study on the factors influencing the quality of service in issuing data collection permission letters for graduate students’ research at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University aimed to examine both the service factors and the quality of service in issuing such letters. The population consisted of 50 graduate students at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University. Data were collected using a questionnaire, and the statistical tools employed for data analysis included percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The results revealed that the overall service factors were rated at the highest level (overall mean = 4.56). Considering each aspect individually, the highest mean score was found in the area of convenience channels (4.63), followed by staff service (4.57), service process/procedures (4.54), and service quality (4.51), respectively. In detail, service users placed great importance on convenience, speed, accuracy, and equal treatment by the staff. The findings also indicated that the information obtained could be applied to improve the regular operations of the department, such as developing operational manuals, enhancing request status tracking systems, and providing staff training to further improve service quality.
