THE FACTORS INFLUENCING THE SATISFACTION WITH THE PLAGIARISM CHECK (TURNITIN) SUBMISSION OF GRADUATE STUDENTS AT SUAN SUNANDHA RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY

Abstract


The objective of this research was to study the satisfaction of graduate students at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University in submitting academic work for plagiarism detection using Turnitin. The sample group consisted of 60 graduate students (master’s and doctoral levels) at the Graduate School, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire. Descriptive statistics, including percentage, mean, and standard deviation, were used to describe the demographic characteristics of the graduate students. The research findings revealed that: Most graduate students at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University were female (34 students, 56.7%). The majority were master’s degree students (37 students, 61.7%), and most submitted their work in the form of a thesis (43 students, 71.7%). The overall satisfaction with submitting academic work for plagiarism detection using Turnitin among graduate students was at the highest level ( = 4.53, S.D. = 0.495). Considering each aspect: First: The process and procedures were rated at the highest level ( = 4.74, S.D.= 0.468). Second: Service personnel were rated at the highest level ( = 4.56, S.D. = 0.509). Third: The system and usability were rated at the highest level ( = 4.44, S.D. = 0.502).
