Abstract

   The purposes of this research were (1) to develop the workbook on English reading and writing skills based on Montessori approach prathomsuksa 1 students to evaluate the efficiency 75/75 (2) to compare the reading skills of students using the pre - test and post - test (3) to compare the writing
skills of students using the pre - test and post - test (4) to investigate students’ satisfaction on the workbook on English reading and writing skills based on Montessori approach for prathomsuksa 1 students
   The samples used in the study were ten Prathomsuksa 1 students studying in the second semester of an academic year of 2015 from Wattaklo School, Amphoe kaengkoi, Saraburi province, Saraburi Education Service Area 2, selected by the sample random sampling. The instruments used for collecting
data included workbook on English reading and writing skills based on Montessori approach for prathomsuksa 1 students reading and writing skills objective tests and a questionnaire on students’ satisfaction on the workbook on English reading and writing skills based on Montessori approach for prathomsuksa 1 students
   The research findings were as follows : (1) The efficiency of the workbook on English reading and writing skills based on Montessori approach for grade 1st was at 75.27 / 76.30. (2) After learning using workbook on English reading and writing skills based on Montessori approach for prathomsuksa 1 studrens. the reading skill of students was higher than before learning at the significance level at 0.05.(3) After learning using workbook on English reading and writing skills based on Montessori approach for prathomsuksa 1 studrens the writing skill of students was higher than before learning at the significance level at 0.05. (4) The students’ satisfaction on the workbook on English reading and writing skills based on Montessori approach for prathomsuksa 1 studrens was at the high level.
